Board Members
WCADV by-laws provide that the number of directors is eleven. It is further provided that the board of directors may increase that number to meet recommended composition quotas. It is required that at least one organizational member from each region be represented on the board. One-third of WCADV's thirteen member board of directors is elected annually by the voting membership. For the past six years, over 50% of the 13 board seats have been held by people of color and over 50% of the seats are held by formerly battered women.
