You will reach an advocate who can talk with you about your situation, your safety, and the options available to you. All conversations with advocates at the National Domestic Violence Hotline are strictly confidential.

This safety plan is for domestic abuse victims of any age who may be abused by or afraid of their spouse/partner, boy/girlfriend, caregiver, adult child or other family member. Safety planning helps identify options in advance of potentially dangerous situations. Choose only the suggestions listed in the safety plan that make sense for your set of circumstances. Take extra precautions when weapons are present in the home.
