Core Advocacy and Restraining Order Training - Fall 2012
October 24-26 in Milwaukee. October 24 & 25: Core Advocacy training addresses advocacy as a philosophical approach and a set of skills and activities that flows from that philosophy. Participants will explore concrete ways to connect with/support survivors, and navigate systems survivors often encounter. October 26: Restraining Order training provides essential information for any advocate who will assist individuals to obtain restraining orders.
Both Core Advocacy and Restraining Order Training provide opportunities to learn and discuss ideas and situations that advocates often encounter in their work with survivors.
