WI Batterers Treatment Providers Association Membership Meeting & Conference

The Wisconsin Batterers Treatment Provider Association (WBTPA) welcomes you to join them for this meeting and conference.
Lundy Bancroft will deliver the keynote presentation on April 24. Caught in the Crossfire looks at what happens to children when they live under the same roof as a violent man who is controlling and terrorizing their mother. Participants will learn how to be key contributors to prevention and intervention, and uncover the path to recovery for both the victims and the witnesses.
Dr. Oliver Williams, keynote presenter on April 25, will address Critical Issues in Batterer Intervention Among Diverse Populations, exploring ways to engage more men in the process of change. he will consider fatherhood in the context of domestic violence; how faith, culture and subculture may factor into elements to include in batterer intervention groups; and working with men of color in racially and culturally diverse batterer intervention groups.
Participants who attend may receive educational credits for obtaining or maintaining WBTPA certification.
