DAIS is the leading provider of domestic violence intervention and prevention services in Dane County. Founded in 1977, DAIS has grown from its humble beginnings of five volunteers working out of a church basement, to an organization of close to 30 full-time staff, numerous part-time staff, and over 130 volunteers providing comprehensive prevention and intervention programming to thousands of Dane County residents each year. The organization is on the cusp of substantial growth in programming and the required staff and volunteer corps to support that programming. Additionally, the organization is in the midst of constructing a new, much larger facility slated to open in the summer of 2014.
 
DAIS is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our growing team. The Executive Assistant (EA) is a part-time position responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director. Additionally, the EA will provide support for the Board of Directors, and may, at times provide support to other Leadership Staff members.
 
A successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of administrative office experience, including at least two years of experience supporting executive management staff. Additionally, the successful candidate will have an Associate degree; Bachelor degree strongly preferred. Experience working with a non-profit Board of Directors also preferred.
