The Family Center is a non-profit organization which provides services to victims of domestic violence and their children. The Family Center offers safe shelter, support, advocacy, and referral to other agencies. Center is staffed and available 24-hours. We are hiring for the Executive Director position.
The Executive Director is responsible for strategic planning, fund development, public relations and the overall management of Family Center. The Executive Director serves as the public face of the agency to funding sources, government officials, donors and the community at large.Duties include but are not limited to: day to day operation agency, compliance with applicable regulations and laws, overall fiscal performance, developing and maintaining the annual budget, writing grant applications, leading fund raising initiatives, hiring and developing staff, participating in Board and committee meetings (preparing agendas and maintaining records of all meetings, carrying out the decisions of the Board), participating in regional and statewide efforts that address issues of domestic abuse and sexual assault, maintaining a comprehensive community awareness and education programs of such, maintaining relationships with donors and donor organizations and creating new relationships, maintaining the overall facility and grounds.
