DAIS is the leading provider of domestic violence intervention and prevention services in Dane County. Founded in 1977, DAIS has grown from its humble beginnings of five volunteers working out of a church basement, to an organization of close to 45 full-time staff, numerous part-time staff, and over 130 volunteers providing comprehensive prevention and intervention programming to thousands of Dane County residents each year. The organization is in the midst of substantial growth in programming and the required staff and volunteer corps to support that programming. Additionally, the organization recently relocated into a new, much larger facility.
 
DAIS is seeking a self-assured, approachable, and adaptable human resources generalist to provide expertise, leadership, and assistance to its 45+ employees. This hands-on position produces tangible work products and collaborates in managing the organization’s HR needs while providing advice and guidance to management and employees on HR issues. This position requires a customer service orientation, the ability to collaborate with all levels of staff, a commitment to confidentiality, a continuous improvement mindset, respectful problem solving, and exceptional communication skills. Seeking an experienced professional with progressive, hands-on experience in all aspects of human resource management.
