Advocates: Join WI Health Systems Educator Rene Firari-Will and WCADV Aging and Disabilities Specialist CJ Doxtater to gain the skills and resources you need to reach out to local health care providers. Learn how to educate health care professionals about: domestic violence basics; how to safely and effectively screen for domestic violence; what to do when domestic violence is present; and practical issues such as reporting requirements.

At this event, participants will:
- Acquire education tools, including a Power Point Presentation, for future use
- Discuss Health Care Reporting Requirements
- Gain the knowledge, skills and resources needed to educate local health systems professionals about: domestic violence basics; documentation; how to safely and effectively screen for domestic violence

Registration: The fee is $10 for WCADV members, $15 for non-members, which includes a box lunch and training materials.
