End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin (WCADV) designs training primarily for domestic violence victim advocates in Wisconsin. We conduct regional and statewide training events in centrally located facilities, web-based seminars, and customized on-site training for staff and boards of domestic violence programs.
Training for advocates focuses on both practical and philosophical concerns related to anti-domestic violence work. For these trainings, we rely on local advocates as well as state and national speakers to share their expertise. Additionally, we deliver domestic violence-related training to professionals in numerous systems such as legal, law enforcement, health care, and social services.
Training not only educates, but also provides opportunities for networking and coalition building locally, statewide and nationally, that are critical to our work. For a training calendar and more information about individual training events, see our Events page .
